I own a toy camera called "Diana Mini". I bought this camera a few years ago just for fun. I used it a couple of times but never really got into it...since then it's been sitting on my shelf.
I picked up this camera again recently because my D-SLR has broken down. I thought why not play around with it?
If you like the images which have a pin sharp and high resolution taken by high end D-SLR, or if you aim to get stunning shots with maximum control, this is not for you.
However if you like to shoot fast and want to ignore the rules, this camera could be your good friend. It looks like a toy and works as a toy with minimum controls and you need to guess what the results will be.
So I am going to experiment with many things on this camera and will keep reporting back here with the results...
数年前にトイカメラを購入しました。"Diana Mini"というモデルで、気軽に遊び感覚で撮影しようかと。２回使ってみて、そのおもしろさにはまることもなく、それ以降は棚に飾ってあるだけでした。
再びこのカメラを手に取ったのは、メインで使用していたデジタル一眼レフカメラが故障してしまったからです。
高価なデジカメで撮影したような、上手くてきれいな画像が好みの方、カメラに最大のコントロールを求める人には、トイカメラは向いていないかもしれません。
ただ、さくっと撮影を済ましたい人や、写真のあらゆるルールを無視して撮ることを楽しみたいという方は、虜になるかも。。。あくまでも、見た目も機能も”トイ”なカメラなので、撮影結果も見てのお楽しみです。
そんなわけで、これからこのカメラとともにいろんな実験と冒険をしてみたいと思います。結果は随時ブログで報告していきます。
