Cat Town in Nara

I live with three cats. They are brother and sisters and I welcomed them all at once. When I tell this story, people think I am such a cat lover...but in fact it was a lot more simple. I couldn't choose only one and couldn't leave just one. 
I found this newspaper article about my town, Nara. It's not about photography but I thought it was an interesting one to introduce a little bit about the town and the area of Naramachi. 
When I see the cats in streets I can't resist to photograph them and in Naramachi it's not difficult to find cats at all! Here are a few examples...

わたしは３匹の猫と暮らしています。野良猫が産んだ３兄妹をうちに迎え入れました。
この話しをすると、たいていの人はわたしが大の猫好きと思うのですが、実際はもっと単純で、一匹だけを選ぶことも残すこともできなかっただけなのです。
先日、こんな新聞記事を見つけました。写真とは関係ないのですが、私の住む町の猫たちについて書かれていたので紹介しようかと。。。英語ですが。
町歩きをしていて猫が目に入るとついカメラを向けてしまいます。この記事で紹介されている”ならまち”というエリアを散策していればばったり猫に出くわすこともしばしば。
